Select an area of life, such as work, recreation, spirituality, or taking care of elders. Reflect on your values in relation to this life area and list your five highest priorities. In order to help identify the sources of your values, interview one of your parents or another elder family member about their values in relation to this life area. Identify ways in which your values are similar or different from those of your interviewee. Also, identify the extent to which your identified values come from your family, cultural group, religious group, or other source. The interview can be by zoom, telephone conferencing, or some other virtual format.
