Kennedy stated, “The world is very different now.  For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty, and all forms of human life.”  Here he points to the dichotomy our technological advances have brought to society, and makes us aware of the monumental impact our choices can have on the world.  Since this time, technology has advanced further and faster than ever imagined.  For many in today’s society, our advancements of technology have improved the human condition so prodigiously that it would be difficult to imagine any disadvantage exists.  However, to others, technology has brought about challenges they would prefer the world to be without.  What would you consider some of the strongest examples?  In your opinion, do the benefits out weight the detriments?  Your response should be at least 250 words, and you are required to respond to at least two of your peers.  Peer responses should demonstrate critical reflection, understanding, and respect for your co-learner’s experiences and decisions as well as facilitate discussion.
